The ice stadium of the Freizeitzentrum

The Rainer-Roßmanith-Eisstadion belongs to the Freizeitzentrum Trostberg, which offers leisure facilities in summer and in winter and is run by the Stadtwerke Trostberg. The stadium has 1,800 square metres of artificial ice, with room for skaters, ice-stock players and ice-hockey players, and the operator presents it as a winter outing for the whole family.

A children's ice kindergarten is held at the stadium, and the operator points visitors to the local newspaper and social media for announcements and events. General skating is cancelled when a tournament takes place, so the posted times are worth checking before a visit.

The Stadtwerke say that the sports facilities of the Freizeitzentrum contribute to the quality of life in the town, and the stadium carries the name of Rainer Roßmanith.
