A 4,947-square-metre hall with 689 seats on the Ulsan College campus
The ice rink of Asan Gymnasium on the Ulsan College campus covers 4,947 square metres in total and has 689 seats. The college calls it an international-size rink where skaters can enjoy skating, short track, figure skating, ice hockey and curling.
National competitions are held in the hall every year, and elite athletes choose it for summer and winter training camps. Kindergartens, private academies and primary and secondary schools bring pupils for outings and trial programmes.
Lesson teams for skating, short track and ice hockey that have passed strict qualification checks are based in the hall, and a skating club is active there. At weekends the rink is a known family outing. The college closes the rink over the Seollal and Chuseok holidays.
