A privately built ice arena whose free-skating hours are posted day by day
The Polyus ice arena was built by the company Vladled and became the first sports facility in Vladivostok where children and adults can play hockey and figure-skate all year round. The idea came to the company in May 2006, and the arena opened its doors on 12 February 2008 with the support of the regional administration.
In February 2009 the sports club Polyus was set up at the arena, with hockey and figure-skating departments. The arena also takes corporate skating parties of up to 150 skaters and offers individual lessons with an instructor.
It stands near the 100th Anniversary of Vladivostok avenue on the seaward side, next to the Yunost stadium, and its free-skating sessions are listed for every day of the week.
