The REVA Eishalle opened in 1999, and the hall is what let a group of hobby hockey players turn their game into a lasting club: the 1. EHC Voralpenkings Vöcklabruck was founded in the summer of 2003. The club now counts 150 members in five teams and had around 200 ice sessions of training, events and games in the 2019/20 season.
The hall is the home of the Voralpenkings and the venue of the Innviertel Penguins, a team that began in 2005 when friends from different sports met at the Wildenauer Badesee. The Eiskunstlaufclub Vöcklabruck gives skating courses on the ice, and the hall has its own buffet, halLO. Besides skating and hockey it serves as an event venue, which its own operators describe as a place of encounter.
