The winter stadium at Na Lapači in Vsetín was begun in 1962 and is one of the largest sports facilities run by Vsetínská sportovní. The ice is used for hockey matches and training, for public skating and for a skating course for children.
The ice surface measures 60 by 26 metres and is prepared every day. The stands have a total capacity of 5,400, standing and seated, so the hall can take a full hockey crowd as well as the public skaters who come at weekends.
The stadium is in operation from January to April and from July to December. Public skating follows the hockey clubs' matches and usually takes place at the weekend, unless stated otherwise, so the ice schedule on the operator's site is the place to look before going.
