An ice rink on a car-park deck

The rink at Tarczyński Arena is a covered oval about 150 metres long, on the second level of the multi-storey car park of Wrocław's stadium. The city's own news portal introduced it as a roller-skating track that turns into an ice rink in winter, and by the end of the 2022/23 season it had run for four skating seasons.

In 2022/23 the ice was open every day for 108 days and 27,000 guests skated on it. The season opened with free skating lessons all weekend. A Lower Silesian Olympic speed-skating medallist ran a session for children and young people, and trainers from Natalia Czerwonka's academy taught children to move confidently on skates.

That winter regular skating classes were held for the first time, led by players from the Wrocław hockey teams Wiedźmy 71 (women) and Wataha 71 (men). Outside winter, athletes coach roller skating on the same track and organise amateur roller-skating competitions.
