Armenia's year-round ice rink, home of Yerevan's skating school

Ice Arena Yerevan is the home of the Yerevan Figure Skating and Hockey Sports School, which began in 1971 as a youth figure skating school. A new building was constructed at 27/10 Admiral Isakov Avenue in 2015, and in 2019 the Yerevan City Council renamed the school to match its figure skating and hockey focus.

The rink describes itself as the only ice rink in Armenia operating year-round, with ice of a quality designed for international competitions. Skaters of any level can rent professional skates on site, and during its amateur skating hours the rink is open to anyone who wants to skate.

The arena hosted an ISU Junior Grand Prix stage in 2023 and its first International Open Championship in May 2024, and its annual Ice Arena Open Cup has run since 2024. The Yerevan Lions won the Armenian Regular Ice Hockey Championship in 2023.
