A Finnish-built light-structure hall with 1,560 m2 of ice, opened in 2004 and run by a hockey foundation
The Zalaegerszeg ice hall is one of four full-size covered rinks in Transdanubia and opened in 2004. It is a light-structure building made with Finnish technology, with a 1,560 square metre ice surface and room for nearly 1,000 people.
The hall has been closed and reopened several times, and its operator ran into financial trouble in 2008 before a new owner was found. The club says the hall now has almost 20 years of history behind it. Today the Zalaegerszeg Jégsportjáért Alapítvány runs it, which the club says it does together with parents, the municipality and supporters, and the Egerszegi Titánok play their home games here.
The Titánok started training hockey players after the hall was built, entered a team in the second national championship (OB II) for the first time in 2017 and have played in the second-tier Andersen Liga since 2024, so the ice is shared with club hockey as well as public sessions.
