Nashville Skating Academy Pro Shop
The Nashville Skating Academy, the figure skating school at Centennial Sportsplex in midtown, runs a small pro shop for skaters. Orders are placed through its online form and picked up at the Academy’s office in the Sportsplex; the shop does not ship.
It sharpens figure skates of all makes and models of blades for $20 a sharpening, with a standard turnaround of 72 hours. A rush sharpening costs $35, when the pro shop can take it, and the form asks you to email the shop before paying for one. Hockey sharpening is not listed.
The Academy is an authorized dealer of Jackson Ultima, Riedell and Edea skates. Fittings take about 15 minutes and must be scheduled by email, and boots are ordered through the shop. It also sells hard guards, soakers, tights, socks and protective gear. No phone number or opening hours are published. Since 1 May 2026 the Nashville Predators run the ice at Centennial, while the Academy still runs its own programs there.
