Play It Again Sports Nashville
Play It Again Sports Nashville is a used and new sporting goods store at 7631 Highway 70 South, in the Staples Shopping Center in Bellevue, across the highway from Ford Ice Center Bellevue. Its page lists ice and roller hockey among the sports it specializes in, and says its staff are trained to fit athletes in the gear they need.
The store’s own services list gives skate sharpening at $10 to $15 a pair, beside glove relacing, regripping, sanitizing, delivery and assembly. The list does not say which blades it sharpens, the hollows it offers or how long a pair takes, so ask when you drop skates off. A services board photographed in the store in 2020 listed sharpening at $7; the website’s price is the current one.
Like every Play It Again Sports, it buys used gear and sells used and new equipment, so it is a place to trade in skates a child has outgrown. The store is open Monday to Saturday from 10 to 8 and Sunday from noon to 5, and its number is 615-747-6767.
Not stated: hockey (player), goalie, figure, speed / long-track, recreational & rental.
