## Notices

- The natural-ice rink of IJs- en Skeelerclub Nijeveen at Schuurmansweg 17 is closed for now: the club's latest ice news, from 11 January 2026, said the rink stayed closed because frozen footprints had made the ice uneven and unsafe. The club floods the rink from 1 November to 1 March and opens it once the ice is 7 to 8 cm thick, with updates on its news page and home page; nothing is posted for the coming winter yet. No sessions are listed here. Checked 11 October 2026. (source: https://www.skeelerbaannijeveen.nl/gevaarlijke-ijslaag/)
