What this place is
A skate sharpening, repair and customization shop in Morrisville for hockey and figure skaters, home of the Pro Skate-Balance profiling system.
PSB Pro Services (Pro Skate Balance)
PSB Pro Services, the business behind the Pro Skate-Balance profiling system, is a skate service shop in Morrisville that works on hockey and figure skates. It has moved to a new unit on Chapel Hill Road, about a mile from Invisalign Arena at Wake Competition Center and six from Polar Ice Cary, so it is convenient for families skating on the west side of the Triangle.
Hockey players can walk in for a machine sharpening on the Elite ES4 at any time the shop is open. Anyone who prefers a hand finish on the Blade Master can book a time online. Figure skaters always need an appointment, because the shop’s figure work is busy.
The shop also profiles and balances blades and replaces worn holders and steel. Its staff will heat-mold new boots or stretch a pair that pinches. Skaters outside the area can ship skates in through the online mail-in service, and the shop stocks team gear for the Junior Canes, Golden Bears and Raleigh Raptors.
Sharpens: hockey, figure. Not stated: goalie, speed / long-track, recreational & rental.
