A town-run ice hall in Uusikaupunki with a 60 by 28 metre rink and a Sunday public skate
Tällä hetkellä kauden ulkopuolella The town's page says public skating is held every Sunday from 10:00 to 11:00 and that games can change the timetable; extra sessions are marked in the ice list kept by the Jää-Kotkat club, which the page points to, and no dated sessions are printed on the page itself. Uusikaupunki's ice hall is run by the town's sports services. A rink measuring 60 by 28 metres is surrounded by a stand for 500 spectators, five changing booths and a warm café. The hall was renovated in 2006 and 2007, and the rink then got LED lighting in 2013, a new ice-maintenance machine in 2017, a new safety rink in 2018 and new brine piping in 2019.
By day the hall is used by schoolchildren and day-care groups, and in the evenings by the Jää-Kotkat hockey club, the Vakka-Suomi figure skaters and other ice-sport enthusiasts. The town offers a public skate every Sunday morning, open to all skaters, and extra sessions are marked in the ice list that the hall's page points to. The page also notes that games can move the timetable.
