ECO ProShop / GoalieParts

Goalie and hockey pro shop inside Darien Sportsplex

Darien Sportsplex, where ECO ProShop / GoalieParts is
The Sportsplex front entrance on a sunny day: dark green 'Sportsplex' lettering on the canopy over the glass doors, a tall glazed brick window bay above, and benches on the plaza outside. The ECO ProShop / GoalieParts counter is inside.

GoalieParts began as an online store run by goalies for goalies, selling the replacement cages, straps and clips that are hard to find elsewhere, and in 2020 it opened a counter inside the Darien Sportsplex together with ECO ProShop. A second counter followed at Seven Bridges Ice Arena in Woodridge in 2023.

That makes it the place in the south-west suburbs where a goalie can try equipment on, book a fitting and get skates profiled for the position. The shop profiles on a ProSharp machine with a large set of templates, so goalies who want a flatter radius can ask for one rather than making do with a player profile.

Willowbrook Ice Arena is about two miles away, and Pure Hockey’s Downers Grove store, the chain’s goalie store, is a short drive north if you want to compare pads.

Sharpens: profiling / contouring. Not stated: hockey, goalie, figure, speed / long-track, recreational & rental.
