What this place is
The Chiller's hockey skate sharpening service, taken in at the front desk of OhioHealth Chiller Ice Works. Skates can be dropped off at any Chiller rink.

Chiller Ice Works is the smallest of the Chiller rinks, a single sheet in Worthington that the Chiller bought in 2006 so the hockey programs already playing there would keep a home, and renovated in 2019. The Capital Amateur Hockey Association and the Worthington Kilbourne and Westerville high school teams skate here, and its public ice is drop-in hockey and stick and puck, so most people walking in carry a stick.
That suits the Chiller’s sharpening service, which is aimed at hockey players and takes skates in at the front desk of each Chiller rink. The sharpener behind it spent three decades looking after equipment for the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Columbus Chill. Leave a pair at the desk on the way to a session and plan to collect it on a later trip.
Pure Hockey’s Westerville store, the former Perani’s Hockey World near Polaris, is about two miles north-east for gear, and its Sawmill Place store is a few miles west.
