Bought by the Chiller in summer 2006

OhioHealth Chiller Ice Works is a single-rink hockey building in Worthington that Chiller LLC purchased in the summer of 2006 so that the programs already playing there would continue to have a place to play. The Chiller name dates to 1993, when the Columbus Chill became the first minor league team to build, own and operate its own rink at Chiller Dublin; Chiller Easton, the second dual-rink building, followed in 1997 and Chiller North in 2003. The group now runs ten indoor sheets at six locations in Columbus, Dublin, Worthington, Lewis Center and Springfield, owned and operated by JMAC, the majority owner of the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets.

The one sheet is home ice for the Capital Amateur Hockey Association, Worthington Kilbourne High School hockey and Westerville High School hockey. CAHA, the Capitals, was founded in 1967 to teach young players the fundamentals of the game. This is a hockey rink rather than a public skating one: the only public programs are drop-in hockey and stick and puck sessions.

Chiller Ice Works was completely renovated in 2019. It remains a single sheet, unlike the dual-rink Chiller Easton, and the Capitals and the two high school teams are still the names on its ice.
