The short version
EveryRink is free to use. Schedules and rink information come from the rinks themselves and can change at any time, so check with the rink before you go. Use the site, the API and the schedule embed fairly, credit EveryRink when you reuse what you find here, and respect other people’s names, logos and photos. If something is wrong, tell us and we’ll fix it.
Who these terms are with
These terms are an agreement between you and the publisher of EveryRink (“we”, “us”). They apply to everyrink.com, its pages in every language, the EveryRink apps, the public API and MCP server, and the schedule embed. By using any of them you accept these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use EveryRink.
How we handle personal information is explained separately in our privacy policy.
What EveryRink is
EveryRink is an independent guide to public ice time. It brings together the public skating, freestyle, stick & puck and drop-in hockey sessions that rinks publish, along with information about each rink, so you can find a session and go to the rink to book it.
EveryRink does not run rinks, sell admission or take bookings. Admission, registration, waivers and payment always happen with the rink, on its own website or at its door, under its own terms. EveryRink is not affiliated with any rink, league or governing body unless a page says otherwise.
Schedules come from rinks and can change
We read schedules, prices and rink details from each rink’s own official pages and booking systems, and we record where every fact comes from and when it was checked. Even so, rinks change, cancel or fill sessions, sometimes at short notice, and sometimes without updating their own website.
Treat what you see on EveryRink as a guide, not a guarantee. Before you travel, confirm the session, the price and any requirements with the rink, using the booking link or the rink’s own website shown on its page. Crowd counts and forecasts are estimates from past sessions and camera images where available; they are not promises about how busy the ice will be or its condition.
If you spot something wrong, tell us and we’ll check it against the rink’s official source.
No warranty
EveryRink is provided free, “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that the site will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors, or that any information on it is complete, current or correct. We may change, pause or stop any part of EveryRink at any time.
Limits on our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, the publisher of EveryRink is not responsible for any loss or cost that comes from using EveryRink or relying on it, including a wasted trip, a session that was cancelled, changed or full, a price that was different at the rink, or anything a rink or another website does. Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to the amount you paid us to use EveryRink, which is nothing.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you use EveryRink as a consumer, you keep every right the law of the country you live in gives you that cannot be waived by agreement.
Skating is a physical activity with its own risks. Follow the rink’s rules and staff, and use the equipment and supervision that suit you.
Using EveryRink fairly
You may use EveryRink for your own skating plans and share links to it freely. Please don’t:
- break, overload or interfere with the site, or try to get into parts of it that are not public (the owner workspace, another person’s saved plans, a rink panel that is not yours);
- send spam, false reports or misleading corrections through the forms, or submit someone else’s private information;
- pretend to be a rink, its staff or EveryRink, or suggest that EveryRink endorses you or your product;
- copy the site wholesale to build a competing service, or remove the source and credit from information you reuse;
- use EveryRink for anything unlawful.
We may limit or block access that breaks these terms.
The API, the MCP server and automated access
EveryRink publishes the same rink and session data for software and AI assistants: a read-only JSON API described at openapi.json, an MCP server at /mcp, and a Markdown version of each region and rink page. llms.txt explains what is covered and how to use it. You are welcome to use them, without a key or an account, on these conditions:
- Credit EveryRink. When you show or quote information from EveryRink, name EveryRink and link to the rink’s page on EveryRink (every record carries its
pageUrland a ready citation). When you quote a price or a rule, also link its official source. - Send people to the rink to act. For booking, paying or last-minute changes, link the rink’s own booking page.
- Be polite. Keep to a few requests per second, cache responses (the data does not change faster than every few minutes), and prefer the Markdown index or one region query over crawling every rink. Crawlers should follow the sitemap.
- Don’t change the meaning. Don’t alter times, prices or facts, or present them as your own or as more certain than they are.
We may change the API, set limits or stop serving clients that ignore these conditions.
The schedule embed and the WordPress plugin
A rink, a club or anyone writing about a rink may place that rink’s EveryRink schedule on their own website with the code on our page for rinks or the EveryRink WordPress plugin, free of charge. Keep the embed as supplied, including the link to the rink’s page on EveryRink under it, and don’t frame it in a way that suggests the schedule is someone else’s.
Our content, our logo, and other people’s
The EveryRink name, the ER logo, the site’s design and the text we write (rink portraits, guides, explanations) belong to the publisher of EveryRink. You may quote short passages with credit and a link. The logo may be used to refer to EveryRink as described in the logo & media kit; any other use needs our permission first.
Rinks’ names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners, and so do the leagues’, operators’ and booking systems’ names we mention. Using them on EveryRink does not mean those owners endorse EveryRink, or that we claim any right to them. Photos are credited to the people and organisations who took or published them, and remain theirs.
If you believe something on EveryRink uses your content or trademark without the right to, write to us and we’ll look at it promptly.
Photos, corrections and suggestions you send
When you send a photo, a correction, an idea or a missing rink, you confirm that it is accurate as far as you know and that you have the right to share it. For a photo, you give the publisher of EveryRink a free, non-exclusive, worldwide permission to publish it on EveryRink, its apps and its embeds, resized or cropped to fit, with the credit you provide. You keep your rights to it, and you can ask us to remove or correct it at any time.
We review contributions before anything is published and may decline any of them. A correction is checked against the rink’s official source before it changes a listing.
For rink staff: claiming a rink and the rink panel
A rink’s listing on EveryRink is free. If you work at a rink you can ask to keep its listing up to date. By claiming a rink you confirm that you work there and are allowed to speak for it about its public schedule, prices and visitor information. The changes you make are proposals: we review each one before it appears, and we may edit, decline or undo a change, or close access, to keep listings accurate. A kit code mailed to a rink helps show you can receive the rink’s post; it is not a right to the listing.
Links to other websites
EveryRink links to rinks’ own websites and booking systems, to live camera services, and on some pages to products on Amazon (as an Amazon Associate, EveryRink earns from qualifying purchases). Those websites are not run by us; their own terms and privacy policies apply, and we are not responsible for their content, prices or availability.
Changes to these terms
If these terms ever change, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced in the app. Using EveryRink after a change means you accept the updated terms.
