The pro shop at the Ohio State Ice Rink on the university campus, selling figure skating and hockey supplies and equipment since 1961.
Ohio State Ice Rink Pro Shop
The pro shop at the Ohio State Ice Rink sits on the university campus, in the rink where the Buckeyes play, and it has been selling skating supplies and equipment for figure skaters and hockey players since 1961. It serves the skaters who come for the rink’s open skating sessions as well as the players and coaches who use the building every day.
Because it stocks for both disciplines, it is a handy stop for figure skaters who live near the university district and downtown, where the other nearby rink, the Ice Haus, is mostly a hockey building. Open skating here has a cap on numbers and the rink asks skaters to arrive early, so a parent picking up laces or guards before a session should leave a little extra time.
Campus parking is tight on game days, so look at the rink’s parking map before you drive over, especially on a football weekend.
Not stated: hockey, goalie, figure, speed / long-track, recreational & rental.
