Allen Community Ice Rink Pro Shop
Allen Community Ice Rink is the City of Allen’s own rink, run by its parks and recreation department in the northern suburbs of Dallas. Its one full-size sheet is home to learn-to-skate classes, figure skating, youth and adult hockey, stick time, freestyle ice and open skates, and the city lists a pro shop and skate sharpening among the rink’s amenities.
That makes it a handy stop for families who are already at the rink for a class or a practice, since a pair can be looked after in the same building. DICK’S Sporting Goods at The Village at Allen is less than half a mile away, and MonkeySports’ Allen superstore and Children’s Health StarCenter McKinney are each a few miles off.
The rink’s day changes with its programs and ice rentals, so ask at the front desk when the pro shop is staffed before you plan a drop-off around a session.
Not stated: hockey, goalie, figure, speed / long-track, recreational & rental.
Address: 200 E Stacy Rd #1350, Allen, TX 75002
