What this place is
B&R Sports’ Macomb store, at Suburban Ice Macomb.
B&R Sports Macomb
Suburban Ice Macomb opened in 2005 with two NHL-size rinks, and B&R Sports runs the pro shop inside the building. The rink’s own guide sends anyone shopping for hockey skates to this in-house shop for a fitting, while figure skaters are pointed to the rink’s separate guide to buying skates.
It is the most northerly of B&R’s in-rink stores in Macomb County, convenient for families in Macomb Township, Washington and Chesterfield. The chain’s standalone Shelby Township store, with fit centres from all three major skate makers, is about five miles south-west, and DICK’S at Waterside Marketplace in Chesterfield is about five miles east.
Practice slots here run back to back, so leave skates at the shop when you arrive and collect them after the ice time.
