What this place is
A full-service pro shop inside the Dearborn Ice Skating Center, open by appointment.
Dearborn Ice Skating Center Pro Shop
The Dearborn Ice Skating Center, known locally as the DISC, is the city’s two-rink complex at Ford Woods, made up of the older Adray Arena and the Kilpatrick Arena that opened in 1996. Its full-service pro shop carries hockey equipment, figure skating accessories and team apparel, and it sharpens, sells and repairs skates.
The arena says the pro shop is currently open by appointment, so it suits a planned visit rather than a quick stop before a public session. Call the arena to book a time.
The DISC is home to the Dearborn Figure Skating Club, the Crystallettes and Dearborn hockey programs, so the shop serves both kinds of skater. Jack Adams Ice Arena and Garden City Civic Arena are each six or seven miles away, and Podium Skates in Garden City is the nearest figure specialist.
Not stated: hockey, goalie, figure, speed / long-track, recreational & rental.
