Inaugurated 31 August 2024 as the only competition-level rink in Bucharest
No public skating is posted for the next 7 days. New sessions show here as soon as the rink posts them.
Berceni Arena was inaugurated by Bucharest's Sector 4 on 31 August 2024, during the first edition of the Romanian ice hockey Supercup. It is the only facility of its kind built from scratch in Bucharest in the last 70 years, and it opened 12 years after the final closure of the Mihai Flamaropol rink.
It is the only competition-level ice sports facility in Bucharest. Professional hockey clubs and figure skating schools said at the inauguration that they intended to use it for both training and competitions, and Ion Țiriac, Mihai Covaliu, Elisabeta Lipă and Simona Halep were among those present.
The arena has hosted an Under-20 World Championship Division II Group A tournament, where South Korea, Great Britain and Croatia took the podium. It has also hosted the 9th Bucharest Open figure skating competition, which brought 180 skaters from 11 countries onto the ice. Sector 4 also runs a program here for children aged 4 to 12.
