Chamonix's covered Olympic-size rink at 1,037 m

The Patinoire Richard Bozon is a covered Olympic-size rink, 60 by 30 metres, at an altitude of 1,037 metres. It belongs to the Centre sportif Richard-Bozon, a complex in Chamonix that also holds a swimming pool, a climbing wall, a squash court and a weights room, and is named after the mountain guide Richard Bozon, who died in an avalanche in 1995.

The rink calls itself the cradle of many French ice hockey champions and of the French curling team, and its ice is the home of the Chamonix Hockey Club, the most titled club in France. The stands have 1,700 seats.

Home hockey games are listed through the winter on the tourist office's page, and the rink's electrical installations were renovated to use less energy.
