The tenth Eiswinter puts a 500 m² rink in the Kurpark in front of the Kaiser-Wilhelms-Bad
Currently out of season The city's page says the 10th Eiswinter Bad Homburg runs from 19 November 2026 to 10 January 2027; no sessions are listed here before the opening day. Checked on 4 October 2026. Official schedule update
The Bad Homburger Eiswinter sets its rink in the Kurpark, in front of the Kaiser-Wilhelms-Bad, a bathhouse that the town's master builder Louis Jacobi designed in the style of the Italian High Renaissance. The "Eisbahn der Taunus Sparkasse" covers more than 500 square metres, and the tenth edition runs from mid-November to early January.
In this anniversary year there are two separate Eisstock lanes beside the ice, which makes ice-stock shooting possible at weekends as well. Skating stops about every two hours for roughly 20 minutes while the surface is cleaned. The opening on 19 November begins with a skating show, and the programme adds a Nikolaus visit on 6 December, a search for the town's Eisprinzessin or Eisprinz on 15 December and a Jukebox every Thursday.
Young players from the Löwen hockey side warm up on the ice before a showtraining against each other, with the mascot Trevor cheering them on; the rink is reserved for the team during that session, and its date was still being arranged.
