Győr's covered ice rink in Kiskútliget was built in 1984 through a community effort, and it was completely renewed in 2010. It is the home of UNI Győr ETO HC, the Széchenyi István University hockey team that won the Andersen Liga and plays in the EUHL and the Hungarian Cup.
The hall also hosts the Győri ETO HC youth programme, with hockey, figure skating and curling for more than 300 registered athletes in three sections, so public skating shares the ice with competitive sport. It is a covered hall, so every session is held even in bad weather.
In November 2025 the club opened a rooftop solar park of 737 panels with a capacity of 328 kW, which replaced the hall's gas heating entirely. It is expected to produce 350,000 to 380,000 kWh a year and is paired with a heat-recovery ventilation system. At the opening, the city's councillor for sport recalled the community effort of the 1980s, when brick tickets helped pay for rebuilding the hall, and noted that Győr was the first provincial town where people could skate.
