A 6,000-seat ice arena with a 179 by 70 metre field in Kemerovo
The Kuzbass ice palace is a large arena with stands for 6,000 spectators and an ice field of 179.4 by 70 metres overall, suited to bandy, figure skating, short-track and speed skating, curling and mass skating. The bandy field meets world standards at 105 by 65 metres, and ice lanes of 400 metres serve speed skaters.
Around the ice runs a 3.8 metre wide training track with a rubber-polymer surface. For visitor safety the palace limits the ice to 500 people at a time and may close the entrance when the rink is full.
Mass-skating tickets are priced for 90 minutes, with a lower concession rate for children aged 3 to 14, people over 60, students, pupils and several other groups, who show a document or a Gosuslugi QR code. A skating helper for beginners is also offered.
