A 900 m2 natural-ice rink in the bowling and rink complex, with Mont-Dore hockey and skating clubs
The Patinoire du Mont-Dore has a 900 square metre sheet of natural ice and sits in the town's bowling and rink complex, which the tourist office calls a family and convivial place where fun meets sport.
Its activities include public skating sessions with music, hockey matches, figure-skating galas and entertainment, and the evening sessions turn the rink into an ice disco. Hockey players can join the Mont-Dore hockey club, and the Association de Patinage Artistique du Mont-Dore also uses the rink.
The rink pays attention to families: young children can borrow small walking aids, and in the Christmas and February holidays one Friday morning session each week is reserved for children up to 11.
