Limoges' Olympic rink on the Vienne, open since 1982
The Patinoire Olympique de Limoges was inaugurated in September 1982. Its ice measures 60 by 30 metres and its stands have 880 seats; the building, on the banks of the Vienne, also has an automated bar and a reception room. The ice is resurfaced with a Zamboni 446.
Three clubs use the rink, one each for ice dance, ice hockey and figure skating, alongside school and sports use. The City of Limoges has run it directly since 1 January 2021.
The rink describes itself as devoted to fun and parties, with a skating area, a bar, a games area and themed evenings. Since 2024 it has offered Chopper sessions, and its ice school takes beginners from age 4 on Wednesdays.
