The Leonid Kiselyov ice arena is the covered rink of the Omsk city sports school named after A. V. Kozhevnikov. The school was founded in 1983, and from 1 January 1991 it has held the status of a specialised children and youth school of the Olympic reserve.
The covered rink is entered in the All-Russian register of sports facilities by an order of the Ministry of Sport of 12 September 2014. The school's hockey department opened in September 2009 and its curling department on 1 September 2014, the year the rink was registered.
Public skating is announced on a weekly ice calendar shared with the school's Kozhevnikov ice palace, and the school works with the Siberian State University of Physical Culture and Sport, whose students do their practice there.
