Ice Arena is a sports and entertainment complex in Rostov-on-Don that opened in December 2014. It has an administration building and one ice sheet for competitions, with room in the plan for 700 fixed seats around the rink, and it is the training base and reserve stadium of the hockey club Rostov, which played its first official game here on 7 March 2015.
The main building holds a cafeteria, a skate-hire point and changing rooms, and the whole second floor is a children's entertainment centre. A second building rented by the winter-sports school SShOR No. 6 has its own changing rooms, showers and warm-up halls, and the school teaches 460 hockey players and figure skaters free of charge.
Public mass skating runs all year at weekends and on public holidays, and hire skates are included in the price.
