A 1967 arena known as The Cage, home of the SJHL Nipawin Hawks, with the 1985 Jubilee Arena next door
The Nipawin Centennial Arena was built in 1967 and is the Town's main arena; the smaller Jubilee Arena followed in 1985. The two stand side by side in Central Park and share one ice plant, and in 2023 the complex gained a fully accessible addition with four change rooms.
The Centennial Arena, known as The Cage, has artificial ice, seating for 1,200, eight change rooms and a concession selling hot and cold food. It is home to the Nipawin Jr. A Hawks of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League, who won league titles in 1990 and 2018 and the ANAVET Cup in 1990.
Twelve Nipawin minor hockey teams play out of the two arenas, which also host a share of the AA Northeast WolfPack and the Nipawin Knights senior team of the Wheatland Hockey League. Skate Nipawin, the figure skating club, calls the arena home.
