Home ice of the Thousand Islands Pirates

Cerow Recreation Park Arena is the Town of Clayton's ice rink and the home of the Thousand Islands Pirates, the teams of Thousand Islands Youth Hockey. The Pirates' 12U team won the Northern League championship game in 2025. The Clayton Figure Skating Club also runs its programs on this ice, and public skating runs through the winter season.

The building's biggest change came in February 2020, when the town council awarded construction contracts to renovate and expand the arena. The plan called for a two-story addition with new locker rooms, bathrooms and a viewing platform overlooking the hockey rink, along with office space and Zamboni storage. The arena today has six locker rooms and a warming room, with room for fans.

Skating is a winter-season activity here: from April to September the arena is a community venue for concerts, shows and other community events. In December 2018 the All Army hockey team faced the Watertown Wolves here in a scrimmage that was free and open to the public.
