Brockville’s 1,800-seat civic arena in Memorial Park, home of the Junior A Braves, re-roofed in 2026.
The Brockville Memorial Civic Centre was built in 1981 in the Memorial Park recreation complex on Magedoma Boulevard: a 52,000-square-foot building with an 1,800-seat arena and a 350-seat community hall with its own kitchen. It is headquarters for the Brockville Braves Junior A and Brockville Tikis Junior B hockey clubs. The ice is in from September until April, and in summer the pad hosts trade fairs, multicultural fairs and dog shows.
In February 2026 the City started replacing the roof, which had reached the end of its service life and developed leaks, as the first step in its Multi-Use Recreation Facility (MURF) project. Nearly $1 million in Ministry of Sport funding awarded in 2025 paid for the work. The arena closed from March 16 for the steel roof removal, with completion planned for August to leave time to make ice for the winter.
