Renfrew’s two-rink centre, opened 1988 as the Ma-Te-Way Activity Centre, home of the Wolves and Timberwolves.
The myFM Centre opened in 1988 as the Ma-Te-Way Activity Centre and carried that name until 2022. It holds two ice rinks along with a gymnasium, a baseball field, a fitness centre and four community rooms, and the NHA/NHL Birthplace Museum is inside the building.
The main rink seats 634, or about 1,200 with standing room, and is home to the Renfrew Wolves of the Central Canada Hockey League and the Renfrew Timberwolves of the Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League, who have played here since 1988. The building was renovated in the years before the Wolves arrived, and on February 19, 2024 the team drew its first full house, 740 people, against the rival Pembroke Lumber Kings.
