Two NHL-size sheets in Vacaville

Vacaville Ice Sports is a two-sheet arena with a pair of NHL-size rinks, the home for skating and hockey in Vacaville, California. The arena is the home of the Vacaville Jets, its own in-house hockey league, and its ice carries public skating sessions, hockey games, figure skating events and community gatherings.

Figure skating has the longer institutional record here. The Vaca Valley Figure Skating Club, a non-profit formed in 1998 and now past its 25th year, hosts two annual competitions, Spring Preview and Red, White & Blue; the 2026 Red, White & Blue runs as a Compete USA competition with exhibitions for skaters bound for National Showcase. The rink also fields its own Vacaville Ice Sports figure skating teams.

The competition calendar carries through the year. The Cowtown Classic is a figure skating competition staged with an on-the-farm theme, the Skate a Gift Holiday Show is an annual holiday-season exhibition for skaters of all ages and abilities, and each year, for a limited time, the rink is dressed as a Winter Wonderland.
