Canlan Sports Shop at Canlan Sports Scarborough
Canlan Sports Scarborough is a four-rink complex in north-east Scarborough that stays open from early morning until after midnight, and its Sports Shop sells tape, gear and apparel and sharpens skates on site. For a team that plays here every week, a forgotten roll of tape or a dull edge can be dealt with between the parking lot and the dressing room.
Canlan says its shops use trained blade specialists and modern equipment. If you need an edge right before a game, call the arena first or leave yourself time to wait, and if you have a hollow you like, ask the shop to note it on your skates’ record.
Malvern Recreation Centre and Commander Recreation Centre are the closest other indoor rinks, both about 4 km away.
Not stated: hockey, goalie, figure, speed / long-track, recreational & rental.
