Madhatters home ice since the club's 2019-20 debut

Atlanta Ice House is the ice inside the Compete Center in Marietta, a 130,000-square-foot complex that houses an NHL regulation rink, a smaller training rink, an Olympic-size pool, workout centers and private online schooling. The main rink holds up to 229 spectators. The rink was still billing itself as Georgia's newest when the Atlanta Madhatters, a club established in 2019, began playing their games here.

The Madhatters remain the building's main tenant. Their 2026-27 travel prospectus, issued in March 2026, has the club playing out of Atlanta Ice House, and its house-league teams play here for players of all ages. The Tier 1 Hockey Federation's Ice Mavericks also name the rink as their home, though that listing dates from the 2023-24 season. The youth coaching staff includes Yan Kaminsky, who was inducted into the Russian and Soviet Hockey Hall of Fame in 1993.

The junior side has moved on. After roster issues left the USPHL Madhatters fielding only an Elite team in 2025-26, that team relocated to West Chester, Pennsylvania, and in June 2026 it was sold and moved to Buffalo, New York, as the Buffalo Steel. The youth club and house league stay in Marietta.
