Currently out of season The City of Bozeman's ice rinks page (still showing last winter) says all its public ice rinks are closed for the 2025/2026 winter season and that there is no set open or close date because rink construction is dependent on the weather. The city's posted rink hours are Monday to Friday noon to 10 pm and Saturday and Sunday 10 am to 10 pm, when the ice is ready.

Amenities

Southside Park has two rinks, an upper rink on the tennis court and a lower rink on the field. Drop-in informal hockey is allowed only on the upper rink.

Rink rules

The city closes the rinks when the ice is soft, and bans skating on soft ice. No smoking or alcohol is allowed on the ice or in the warming hut, no dogs, and no rough play.
