Three indoor rinks, including the 2,500-seat Encana (Spectator) Arena, home of the Camrose Kodiaks.
The Camrose Recreation Centre officially opened on September 28, 2007. Its spectator events arena, known as Encana Arena, and a second regulation sheet, the Border Paving Arena, were built that year. The Max McLean Arena, attached to the complex along with the Camrose Aquatic Centre and a curling rink, is the former home of the Viking Cup, the Vikings and the Kodiaks.
The Spectator Arena has an NHL-size sheet inside a two-tier bowl with sky seating, holding more than 2,500 spectators, and a two-lane running and walking track circles its first-floor seating. It is home to the Camrose Jr. A Kodiaks, the Augustana Vikings, Camrose Minor Hockey and the Camrose Skating Club. The Border Paving Arena seats 300 around a 200-by-85-foot sheet, and the Max McLean Arena seats about 1,200.
Camrose hosted the Viking Cup, an international tournament tied to Camrose Lutheran College and later Augustana, from 1981 to 2006, and the tournament returned in 2025 after a nearly 20-year break.
