Qidi Ice and Snow Sports Center, also called the Shijingshan Citizen Ice and Snow Sports Center, is the largest complex of innovative air-supported membrane skating halls in China. It was built and began operating in 2017 on a site of 28,700 square metres, and its membrane structure keeps the temperature steady and saves energy.
Two clubs, Qidi Ice Hockey and Qidi Brilliant Skating, are based here, and children come to skate and play hockey: in the summer holidays more than a thousand visit each day. The centre is open all year and regularly holds figure skating leagues, friendly hockey matches and curling taster events. In December 2022 the Beijing sports bureau and education commission named it one of the city's youth off-campus ice and snow activity centres.
