A 60 by 30 metre hall in Brno-Veveří that began in the 1970s as an open-air school rink
Currently out of season Kraví hora's page for the Úvoz ice hall says "Bruslení pro veřejnost momentálně neprobíhá" (public skating is not currently running) on 4 October 2026, and its weekly ice schedule for 5 to 18 October lists no public block. The ice has been in use since 12 August 2026. Checked on 4 October 2026. Official schedule update
Hokejová hala Úvoz began in the middle of the 1970s as an open-air rink built for a primary school with extended sports teaching. A more significant reconstruction started in 1989, when the ice surface was roofed over.
The Brno encyclopedia's profile of the hall (2012) describes a 60 by 30 metre ice surface with boards and protective netting, room for about 600 standing spectators on three stands, a sound system and a lit scoreboard, and a bar on the first floor with a view of the ice. The operator says the rink meets all the criteria for competitive hockey, and that the ice is resurfaced by machine.
Management passed in 2009 to the Kraví hora sports and recreation area, while the owner is the Brno-střed city district. In 2012 the hall was used mainly for training and matches of the HCM Warrior Brno youth teams, and it also served other schools and the public.
