A circular real-ice outdoor rink beside the Olympia Brno centre, now in its second season
Currently out of season Olympia Rink says its season opens on 7 November 2026, with public skating on weekdays from 10:00 to 21:00 and on weekends and public holidays from 9:00 to 21:00. The page prints no closing date for the season, so no sessions are shown here. Checked on 4 October 2026. Official schedule update
Olympia Rink is not a classic ice stadium. It is a circular ice surface right beside the Olympia Brno centre in Modřice, where skaters go outdoors, with music and lights, and the round shape lets them circle the whole rink.
The surface is real ice rather than a plastic artificial one. The rink has no ice resurfacer: the ice is kept up by hand throughout the day, so skating does not have to stop for resurfacing.
The rink is in its second season, again on real ice and with several new features, and it opens in early November. On selected weekdays during the day schools and nurseries skate there free of charge, and the whole round rink can also be hired for team-building, a skating lesson, a birthday or hobby hockey.
