Dzhungar Ice Center Elista
Weekend mass skating at the ice centre of Kalmykia's capital, beside hockey and figure skating schools

Dzhungar Ice Centre is the ice rink of Elista, the capital of Kalmykia, at Budyonny Street 7. It runs hockey sections for children from age 3 or 4 and amateur hockey for adults and children from 13, figure skating sections for the same ages, and ice for hire.
The centre gives its name to the Dzhungar Cup, a hockey championship. Before the new season the regulations were agreed at a working meeting attended by the Head of the Republic of Kalmykia, and the league grew to nine teams in the regular championship. The centre's figure skating coach has also been a guest on Radio Kalmykia's sports programme.
Mass skating is held at weekends, with five one-hour sessions on Saturday and five on Sunday. The centre pins the schedule at the top of its Telegram channel and repeats the poster on its VK wall.
