A year-round rink in a multi-sport park complex on Ostrovityanova street
Ostrov calls itself a year-round rink and covered sports hall in a park setting, a convenient venue for training and camps, with mass skating every day. It is a short way from the metro stations Konkovo and Troparevo.
The ice arena measures 56 by 26 metres. Around it are a covered football field of 40 by 20 metres, a small field of 20 by 10 metres, a 110 square metre choreography hall, a dribbling and throwing zone with two lanes, a martial-arts and cross-training zone, changing rooms with showers and a cafe.
The complex takes bookings for ice, football fields and other zones, camps, tournaments and birthday parties, and stresses the variety of sports on offer. Among the clubs that train here are the hockey club HK SportVsegda and the figure-skating school Akademiya Sporta. The rink belongs to the SportVsegda network of Moscow venues.
