Ice-Grad is the covered rink of the Babushkin Park of Culture and Leisure, known as Park Skazok, one of the oldest green areas of the Nevsky district of Saint Petersburg. The park grew from the people's walks organised beyond the Nevskaya Zastava, and in 1891 its garden was bought by the Nevsky Society for the Arrangement of People's Walks.
Hockey teams are invited to train and play practice matches on the ice, which offers goals, hockey markings, a protective net and showers. Amateurs without a team can sign up by phone, and the rink forms teams once enough people have enrolled.
Figure skating groups are organised on the rink, with enrolment for children from four years old and for adults, and the rink also invites skating schools and individual coaches to bring their adult and children groups.
