A year-round complex with four ice arenas on the shore of the Shuvalovsky quarry
Shuvalovsky Led is a year-round covered sports complex of 12,600 square metres with four ice arenas, on the shore of the Shuvalovsky quarry in the Primorsky district of Saint Petersburg. At the 2024-25 SportsFacilities awards it was named the best training ice venue of the year in Russia.
The two big arenas have full-size ice of 60 by 28 metres marked for hockey, and the small arenas measure 30 by 21 metres and are marked for curling; the Leningrad Curling Club, a partner of the complex, runs curling games on them. There are six sports halls and a Finnish sauna, and skates are sharpened on a Swedish Prosharp machine.
The complex also holds regular adaptive hockey training for children with disabilities, and its open ice includes mass skating, figure-skating hours and hockey hours on both sizes of ice.
