Kutergin Ice Centre in Sysert: a hockey court with drop-in public skating and a gym beside the rink
The Ice Centre named after Viktor Kutergin is a municipal ice centre in Sysert, built around a hockey court. The centre also lets organisers use that court for their own events, with ice preparation, staff, lighting and engineering systems provided, and it offers the ice for practising shots, skating and team play without outsiders on the surface.
Public skating needs no booking: the centre defines it as the time when the rink works without prior registration, and visitors can bring their own skates or arrange a pair on the spot. The sessions are posted in a schedule on the centre's site, and the page itself warns that dates and times may change, so check it before you set out.
Children under 14 pay less and are welcome with parents or friends, and the centre grants a full concession during a campaign called "Hour of Kindness" to several categories of visitor, among them veterans, pensioners, large families and school groups. Blades can be sharpened on site, and a gym with strength and cardio machines stands beside the rink.
