The Vyborg sports complex named after A. P. Petrov calls itself the biggest sports facility in the city of Vyborg, on Leningradskoe Shosse. Besides the ice arena it has a swimming pool, a children's pool, a gym, two fitness halls and a universal sports hall, and it is open every day.
Its community describes mass skating as the way to enjoy freedom of movement and the shine of the ice, to spend time with the family or to organise friendly rides, and hockey hours as the format for those who want excitement and team spirit. The week's timetable of both is posted on the community wall every Friday, a few sessions a day, with more on the weekend.
Skates can be hired on the spot for adults and for children under 14.
