An air-supported ice complex on Shkolny proezd in the Zavolzhsky district of Yaroslavl
The Zavolzhsky ice complex is an air-supported ice hall on Shkolny proezd in Yaroslavl, run by the city's Directorate of Sports Facilities. The ice arena covers 1,624 square metres within a total building area of 3,605 square metres, and the building has been in use since 2007.
Hockey, figure skating and short track schools train on its ice, among them three sports schools of the Olympic reserve and the Lokomotiv hockey association. The complex names hockey, figure skating and short track as the sports played on its ice. For the new season the rink invites the people of Yaroslavl to mass skating every Saturday and Sunday evening.
The rink's own community calls the building an air-supported ice complex and opens the season with a welcome to all the people of Yaroslavl, while the Directorate lists it as the Zavolzhsky sports complex on Shkolny proezd in the Zavolzhsky district of the city.
