Ylivieska's town ice hall: 500 seats, a running straight and room for up to 3,000 at the largest events
Currently out of season The town's page says the public-skating sessions (with sticks and without) are in the Timmi booking system; no dated sessions are printed on the page itself. Official schedule update
Ylivieska's ice hall was completed in 2015 and has 500 seats and 200 standing places; for the largest events it can hold up to 3,000 spectators. Besides ice sports and matches, the hall hosts some of Ylivieska's largest events. Besides the rink it has a running straight for cross-training, with a long-jump pit beyond it, and a café and meeting room for about 90 people that serve during tournaments.
The town describes the hall's spaces as functional and multi-purpose. Several large lifting doors make building and taking down an event smooth, and the sports centre, the swimming hall and the park's jogging track are right next door. Public skating is offered in sessions with sticks and without, and the times are checked in the Timmi booking system.
